Tyler Woods

That is what my sister-in-law Stephanie calls Tyler. He loves golf. He loves to watch it, play and practice. If he is playing with his toys and he hears the swoosh of the golf club on tv he will stop everything and watch. He likes to watch golf lessons On Demand and will practice exactly what he sees. Uncle Matt and Aunt Cheryl got him a left handed golf club and he loves it. He is only 3 and he has such a passion for the game. He practices putt-ing in the family room all of the time. He does throw the club here and there when he doesn't make the shot he wants...we will have to work on that . :)

He is really such a fan of all sports. He loves football, baseball, basketball and even hockey(they play in the kitchen with golf clubs and a ball). We enjoy his enthusiasm.

Here are a few of short videos to show what I am talking about.

Plimouth Plantation - Massachusettes

This was the first thing we did on vacation. We went a day earlier and did this just me, Shane and the boys. I have to say the boys say it was their favorite part(except maybe the pool). This plantation was two parts. This pre - revolutionary war. One half of the plantations was how the Native Americans lived, the other half was how the English lived. The Native Americans that you see in the pictures are from the original tribes that inhabited the area, not actors.

It was really fun and interesting to talk to the people.

The boys thought this cow was funny.

We could hardly keep up with Tyler. He was a busy boy!

The English were building a house and Tyler decided to help.

One very intersting thing. Here are their crops planted. In the middle of this they would put "monkey bars". The children playing in the center would keep birds and other little thiefs out of the crops.

I know I am not writing alot, but let's face it, everybody just wants to see the pictures!

Family At Jarod's Games

We just want to thank everyone from our families who took the time to attend Jarod's baseball games. It really meant so much to him(and Shane and I) that you guys took the time from crazy schedules to come. They are priceless memories and they will be remembered by Jarod throughout his lifetime. I missed getting a picture of Grandma at the game because it got so busy at the game!

Day Of Fun With Grandaddy...Isn't It Always?

When Grandma and Grandaddy were back in Pennsylvania for oh so brief of a time, he did different things on different days with all of the grandchildren. On this particular day o' fun we went mini golfing and had ice cream.

It was Jarod, Zachy, Tyler, Joceline & Alyssa. Of course there was Grandaddy and then me.

He is serious about golf.

Discussing the best approach...

Playing together well.

We are tired from playing too hard.

Alyssa was strong on the back 9.

Cousins make the best of friends.

I will take a break from golf occasionally for ice cream...
THANKS !

Buzz Cuts

Aunt Cheryl, Uncle Matt and Kaitlyn stayed with us Memorial Day Weekend. As usual the boys kept everybody busy. We had Uncle Mike's famous ribs, which we always enjoy.

Uncle Matt went out on the deck at one point and took the clippers and buzzed his hair. I mean really buzzed it. They were leaving on vacation and he wanted to be comfortable, who can blame him? Well, needless to say all three boys ended up getting their hair buzzed.

Zachy First
It did not stay like this, but it was funny:)

Jarod second...we actually had to work with the scizzors to cut the bulk of his hair off. It is so thick:

Then Tyler...he would only do it if Uncle Mike would hold him and Uncle Matt would buzz him. When he was upset I tried, but he wanted nothing to do with Mommy. not with his Uncles Mike and Matt around!

Before.

Uncle Mike had to put towels over his clothes so that he didn't get covered in blonde hair.

Kaitlyn was just thinking that she hopes her Dad doesn't do that to her when she is older!

After baths we feel clean and cool. Thanks Uncle Matt & Uncle Mike.
